Brianne is a Registered Dietitian whose interest in nutrition started early in life. With a passion for sports and driven to succeed, she quickly learned and studied the importance of fueling her body for performance. Her passion for nutrition grew as she learned about the science behind it. She now has many interests when it comes to nutrition however her main focus remains helping those she works with achieve their health and fitness goals.
After completing her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with Kinesiology at Acadia University, Brianne worked as a personal trainer for a year. She quickly discovered that she was not done with learning and continued on to complete a Masters of Science in Applied Health Science focusing on Body Image from Brock University. After successfully defending her thesis, she completed a Dietetic Internship through the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. With her unique education and background, Brianne has had the opportunity to counsel many individuals with different backgrounds helping them achieve their nutrition-related goals.
Approach to Counselling:
Brianne has a non-judgmental approach to counselling and believes that including all foods is the key to success and happiness. If you like it, eat it! She enjoys working with individuals to develop a lifestyle they enjoy and will continue with for the rest of their lives. She believes in a natural, whole food approach and encourages individuals to try new things and expand their palate. She provides the right support and personalized attention to detail and is there every step of the way.
