Claire’s interest in human nutrition began not only in the kitchen but also in the classroom. While she excelled at chemistry and biology, she also enjoyed cooking and exploring the effects of food on the human body. She became more aware of my health as a student-athlete and began to focus on fueling herself instead of filling herself. Naturally, her passions for health and science intersected and led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science Honours in Biomedical Science with a minor in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Science at the University of Guelph, followed by a Master of Human Nutrition at McGill University. She also completed a Master of Human Nutrition (Applied) in Dietetic Credentialing at McGill to become a registered dietitian licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
