Hannah encourages clients to step away from diet culture, reconnect with their bodies, and build sustainable habits around eating and movement that support both their goals and lifestyle. Recognizing that nutrition is influenced by many factors including time, cooking confidence, emotions, and finances, she works with clients to move beyond the cycle of yo-yo dieting. Her goal is to equip clients with the tools and confidence to feel comfortable and empowered in their nutrition choices, whether they are training for a marathon, improving body composition, or becoming more confident in the kitchen.
She is passionate about addressing the impact of diet culture, disordered eating patterns, emotional eating, and the common “all-or-nothing” mindset around nutrition. Her counselling approach creates space for these important conversations while supporting clients in areas such as weight management, sports nutrition, and chronic disease management. She strives to provide a supportive, judgment-free environment for all clients, including those with complex or unique nutritional needs.
Hannah's Approach to Counselling:
Hannah's approach involves guiding clients to tune into their body’s signals, fuel themselves appropriately, and reduce anxiety surrounding food. In her experience, lasting success comes from setting realistic goals and creating a step-by-step plan that considers each client’s unique lifestyle and needs. She encourages measures of success that go beyond the number on the scale, emphasizing energy, strength, lab markers, and overall well-being. She applies these same principles in her own life, prioritizing balance - whether it’s staying active, nourish ing herbody, exploring the outdoors through skiing or hiking, cooking creatively, or enjoying a meal out with friends, guilt-free.
