The terms “registered dietitian” and “dietitian” are protected titles and a dietitian is a regulated healthcare practitioner. Everyone on our team is a registered dietitian!
A nutritionist may or may not have education and qualifications in the area of nutrition. Health benefits typically cover registered dietitians vs. nutritionists. In many provinces, the term “nutritionist” is not a regulated profession.
