Approach to Counselling
Food has always played a significant role in Jessica’s life, as she grew up on a hobby farm with a farming family. As she grew older, she became fascinated by the role nutrition plays in overall health and chronic disease prevention. This and her interest in helping others led her to pursue a career as a Registered Dietitian.
Jessica recognizes that everyone is unique and therefore there is no one-size-fits-all all approach to nutrition. She works with her clients to find what works for them, their lifestyles, and their goals. She can translate complex nutrition messages into simple, easy-to-understand, and apply concepts and provide the tools necessary to empower clients to make informed decisions about their health. Her goal is to foster a non-judgemental, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to make the positive and lasting behaviour changes needed to achieve their goals and improve their health.
