Nav’s passion for nutrition began early, growing up in a vegetarian family where even picky eaters had to get creative about balance. That curiosity about food and health turned into a lifelong mission: helping people build a healthier, more sustainable and guilt-free relationship with eating.

As a Registered Dietitian for over 10 years and co-founder of NutriProCan Dietitians, Nav has worked with people from all walks of life, from everyday heroes to professional athletes, to help them achieve lasting results. She specializes in healthy, sustainable weight loss, with a strong focus on maintenance, empowering clients not just to reach their goals but to keep them in a way that feels realistic and balanced. Nav is passionate about food freedom, making sure her clients get enough protein in and helping them use supplements wisely when needed. She has guided countless clients through transformative journeys, supporting them in managing emotional eating, navigating food sensitivities and intolerances, and building confidence in their choices, often with a touch of humour to keep the process fun, supportive and approachable.

Her expertise extends to digestive health, including IBS, as well as chronic disease prevention and management (type 2 diabetes, liver health, heart disease, cholesterol, cancer and more). She is also passionate about women’s health, helping women feel their best during every stage of the journey.

Nav is recognized for her natural ability to motivate through education, translating science-based nutrition into simple, practical steps. Her coaching focuses on behaviour change as much as nutrition itself, helping clients recognize triggers, shift habits and develop skills that make results truly sustainable as a part of a balanced lifestyle. She believes that “an improved you begins with what you eat,” and her personalized approach always starts with understanding where her clients are, where they want to be and creating realistic goals together with plenty of encouragement (and humour) along the way.

In 2021, Nav was honoured with the Sister Mary Lou McKenzie Young Alumnae Award of Merit from Brescia University College (Western University) for her contributions to the field of nutrition. She also holds undergraduate degrees in Biology (BSc) and Nutrition & Dietetics (HBSc), as well as a Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition (MScFN) from Western University. Beyond counselling, she regularly contributes to community education and workplace health and wellness programs.
