Approach to Counselling
Growing up, Sarah developed a love for cooking with her family, where meals were a chance to connect and understand the importance of nourishing the body. As a competitive dancer, Sarah experienced firsthand the crucial role that proper nutrition plays in performance, recovery, and overall health. With a lifelong passion for healthcare, she discovered that dietetics was the perfect way to combine her love for food with her commitment to helping others lead healthier lives.
Sarah went on to complete a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she also earned a minor in Sociology and a certificate in Food Security. Her academic journey continued at Western University, where she earned a Master of Science in Food and Nutrition.
Sarah takes a balanced approach to nutrition, emphasizing a wide variety of foods that not only bring nourishment but also joy. For Sarah, nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all solution; instead, it’s about finding what makes the most sense for you and your individual goals. She understands that each person is unique in their food choices and environment. Her aim is to empower you to make sustainable changes that will transform your health. Sarah will work with you to create a plan that is both evidence-based and achievable. Working with Sarah means becoming part of a collaborative team.
