Suhani’s Approach to Counselling:

Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, striving for peak performance, or seeking balance through mindful eating, Suhani works collaboratively with you to create realistic strategies that support long-term wellbeing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (Specialization) and a Bachelor of Life Sciences from McMaster University, and brings both clinical expertise and a client-centred approach to her practice. Suhani has been inspired to pursue a career in dietetics by a deep desire to help people take a proactive role in their health and feel empowered with the knowledge and tools to live well, pursue their goals, and fully engage in the life they want : guided by her belief that health is the foundation for everything else.

Suhani has hands-on experience in complex clinical environments, including her work at Richmond State Psychiatric Hospital, where she provided specialized nutrition care to individuals navigating mental health challenges. This experience strengthened her understanding of the powerful connection between food, mood, and overall health, and continues to shape her thoughtful, empathetic counselling style.

Her approach to nutrition counselling recognizes that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. By working closely with other healthcare professionals when appropriate, Suhani ensures your nutrition plan fits seamlessly into your overall care and supports lasting change. Her goal is to help you feel confident, supported, and capable of making nutrition choices that enhance both your physical and mental wellbeing.

Outside of work, Suhani enjoys experimenting with new recipes, strength training, reading, and spending quality time with family.
